Spring Break 2010 - Cape Coral, Florida

We had a fabulous Spring Break in Florida this year! Here are the highlights...

Hitting Sanibel Beach on our first day! It had been awhile since our MN skin had seen daylight. Good thing for SPF 50!

A lost tooth! Did you know the tooth fairy even visits when you are on vacation? And if you are close to the beach, she puts your money in a sea shell!

And finally a 7 hour flight delay on our trip home! (This was the only minor problem of the trip. Although the kids didn't seem to mind killing time in the airport by playing hide and seek, running through the automatic doors and pushing each other on the luggage carts!

Yes, Merek is only wearing a diaper and a jacket... He choked on a Gardetto and puked all over himself. Of course it was the one time I forgot to pack a change of clothes in our carry-ons. (So I guess that makes two minor problems on the trip, but who's counting!)

All-in-all we had a wonderful time in Florida! We came home with some fun memories and also some exciting news.... we are going to have a new cousin this fall! Heather and Andrew are expecting a baby in September!!!!! Yipee!

Pancakes, Pancakes, Pancakes!

Merek's obsessed with pancakes! He can't get enough of them and asks for them at every meal! Here he is making some with me this morning. Mmmmm... yummy!

First Trip to the Dentist

With a little help from Mom (and a tad bit of wrestling), Merek made it through his first trip to the dentist - the exam, cleaning and all! He actually did much better than I thought he would.

The girls? Well, they're old pros at the dentist.

Hmmm? This looks like a safer distance. First Kylyn, now Brielle... I wonder if they think I'm gonna do that?

Our Next "Brainy Bird"

It's official... Brielle is going to be a "Brainy Bird" come September! She will start kindergarten in the fall and she couldn't be more excited! We attended her Kindergarten Orientation last night and had so much fun participating in all the activities. She planted a sunflower seed for her "KinderGarden", ran through an obstacle course, met her teacher Ms. J and explored the Brainy Bird classroom.
